Organizers of a trailer raffle to benefit the injured and disabled farriers fund of two state organizations have launched a website to buy tickets.
The Texas Professional Farriers Association (TPFA) and Oklahoma Farrier’s Association (OFA) have teamed up with Stonewell Bodies to raffle a new Stonewell Middi farrier trailer worth more than $20,000. Tickets are $20 a piece. The trailer will be stocked with supplies and tools by sponsors.
The new site allows those who would like to enter the raffle to make a donation via bank account, credit card or PayPal. It also offers the opportunity for companies and organizations to become sponsors and have their logo displayed on the trailer with an advertising wrap. The winner of the trailer must not remove the wrap for 1 year from the drawing date, which will be Jan. 24, 2018, at the International Hoof-Care Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio. The winner will not need to be present to win; however, he or she will be responsible for tax, title and license. Entrants must be 18 or older to enter. Each person who registers for the 2018 Summit between September 1 and October 31 will receive one free raffle ticket included in the cost of their registration.
In addition to the website, tickets are available from any TPFA and OFA member; at Texas Farrier Supply, 603 S. New Hope Rd., Kennadale, Texas; Nature Farms Farrier Supply, 3541 National Dr., Norman, Okla.; and the International Hoof-Care Summit.
