El Dorado, Ark., farrier James G. Simpson passed away Sept. 13, 2017. He was 73.
Simpson was a retired farrier and member of the El Dorado Fire Department. In addition, he was horse owner, a member of the Parkview Baptist Church and president of the Strickland Hunting Club.
A funeral service took place Sept. 16 at Parkview Baptist Church.
