Anacortes, Wash., farrier John Gordon Goss passed away Nov. 1, 2017. He was 81.

Goss joined the Army in the ‘60s, where he served as a show farrier for historical cavalry stables in Ft. Bragg, N.C. He served as an original member and the president of the Farrier Association of Washington State (FAWS).

A celebration of life will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Rosewood Room at the Country Village, 720 238th St. SE Suite H, Bothell, WA 98021. The family requests that attendees RSVP for the reception by Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 by calling (360) 421-5493.
