Boonville, Ind., farrier George Elzer passed away Nov. 23, 2017. He was 69.

Elzer was mischievous and funny, a storyteller, animal advocate, trusted farrier, and friend to human and equine alike. Some horsemen have said that he was a legend and master in his craft. 

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Bradley’s Colonial Chapel, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville, IN. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 1 hour before the service at Interment Maple Grove Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.bradleyscc.com.
