A Pennsylvania racehorse farm was reduced to ashes after a large fire Wednesday afternoon, WFMZ reported.

All nine of the horses on the 67-acre training farm in East Penn Township escaped. No injuries were reported.

Fire department officials believe the blaze started in an empty apartment attached to the stables and riding ring.

It is more than likely sawdust and hay inside the stables led to the fire spreading, according to crews on scene.

The apartment, stables, and ring are a total loss. Ashes, smoke and charred horseshoes are all visible at the scene.
