Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga, N.Y., has been named the “Official Equine Hospital” of the 2018 Lake Placid Horse Shows. The Lake Placid Horse Show will run June 26 - July 1 and the I Love New York Horse Show will follow, July 3-8.

Rood & Riddle in Saratoga provides services in elective and emergency surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, ambulatory, podiatry, reproduction, sport horse medicine and laboratory. Last year the state-of-the art facility was expanded to twice its size and now includes two surgical suites, three anesthesia induction and recovery stalls, nuclear scintigraphy, a radiology suite, a laboratory and an ambulatory garage. The hospital also includes a four-stall temperature controlled nuclear scintigraphy building as well. In addition to the new facilities, the original building was renovated to increase office and storage space for the 11 veterinarians and 12 support staff.
