American Farriers Journal is the “hands-on” magazine for professional farriers, equine veterinarians and horse care product and service buyers.
Another record number of equine hoof-care professionals invested in their continuing education in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the 15th annual International Hoof-Care Summit for “Sound Strategies For Better Footcare.”
A wealth of information from some of the most knowledgeable hoof-care experts in the world was offered up to the 1,270 attendees from 18 countries. Over 4 days in late January, they had the opportunity to take part in:
“Being my first year at the Summit, all of the information was slightly overwhelming but very exciting,” says Aaron Hill of Montpelier, Ohio, one of the 223 first-time Summit attendees. “The amount of quality information is awesome, and reaffirms my passion and desire to continue furthering my education in farriery and passion for what I will be doing the rest of my life.”
Gary Dowling, a farrier from Collector, Australia, also enjoyed this year’s Summit and took away practical information to use in his practice.
