Retired farrier John “Jack” Francis Sullivan, 75, of Deerfield, N.H., died Sunday, May 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, at Bedford Hills Center, after a period of declining health.

International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame farrier Joe Kutz of St. Louis, Mo., passed away on March 17. After a long horseshoeing career that began in 1943, Kutz always stressed the importance of doing what you love.
On March 29, Hank McEwan of Merritt, British Columbia, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of horseshoeing and farrier students. He often is referred to as the father of Canadian farriery and was one of the founding members of the Western Canadian Farrier’s Association (WCFA) and the American Farrier’s Association.
A service for British Columbia farrier Philip Hind will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2 at St. Mathias Church, 600 Richmond, Ave., Victoria, British Columbia. A tea will follow at 1908 Richardson St.
J.P. Brewer, 67, passed away peacefully at his North Carolina home on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at Belvoir FWB Church. Burial followed in the Brewer Family Cemetery in Belvoir, N.C.
Lim Couch, 75 world renowned horseshoer passed away June 13, 2014. He is the current owner of MidSouth Farrier Supplies and former owner of Briarwood Stables and Midsouth Horseshoeing Academy. Lim was inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame in 2005 and was past president of American Farriers Association.
