The American Farriers Team Committee will conduct the first of three trials to determine the 2022 team. The first trial will be May 14-15, 2021, at Five Star Horseshoeing School in Minco, Okla. Nigel Fennell and Bodie Trnka will be the judges.

The shoe list will be released when registration opens Jan. 18. Registration for earning a spot on the team will be open to the first 30 registrants. When it is full, you can be added to a wait list. When registration closes, specimen shoes will be released to all competitors. Competition rules will also be distributed at that time.

The second trial will take place in September, followed by the final trial in November at the American Farrier's Association National Forging & Horseshoeing Competition.
