Mississippi farrier Lim Couch spent nearly 30 years shoeing horses for the King of Rock ‘n Roll

Even now, nearly 20 years after Elvis Presley’s death, the talented singer who changed music and haircuts forever is known quite simply as the King of rock ‘n roll.
Presley enjoyed a fabulous career before he died at the age of 42 on Aug. 16, 1977.

Remembering Lim Couch

Friends and colleagues recall how the Hall Of Fame farrier touched their lives
On June 13, renowned horseshoer Lim Couch passed away at the age of 75. Couch owned MidSouth Farrier Supply in Hernando, Miss., and was the former owner of MidSouth Horseshoeing Academy and Briarwood Stables.

Lim Couch, 75 world renowned horseshoer passed away June 13, 2014. He is the current owner of MidSouth Farrier Supplies and former owner of Briarwood Stables and Midsouth Horseshoeing Academy. Lim was inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame in 2005 and was past president of American Farriers Association.
