Greenwich Township, Pa., farrier G. Mike Bagenstose passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018. He was 73. 

After graduating from high school in 1963, Bagenstose attended a farrier school in Texas. He worked as a truck driver for Quality Carriers, formerly known as Chemical Neiman Tank Lines. After he retired in 2001, he picked up more farrier work.

Bagenstose held a number of different interests, including horseback riding, NASCAR, and going to tractor shows and auctions. He was also a member of the Kempton Fire Company, Pennsylvania Artist Blacksmiths' Association and Shoemakersville Fire Company.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 6, 2018, in Ziegel's Cemetery, 9990 Ziegel's Church Rd., Breinigsville, PA 18031. The family requests that those who wish to do so make a donation to a charity of their choice in Bagenstose's name in lieu of flowers.
