Louisburg, Kan. farrier Vern L. Isenhower passed away June 1, 2018. He was 106.

Isenhower was always passionate about horses and worked as a farrier for many years. He rode with the Paola Saddle Club and was well-known as the expert on all things horse related in Miami and Johnson County. 

There will be a visitation Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 6-8 p.m at First Baptist Church of Louisburg located at 406 S. Vine St, Louisburg, Kan. 

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
