Vermontville, Mich., farrier Brian Pelham passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was 61. He began his 43-year farrier career after graduating from Wolverine Farrier School, which he attended after graduating high school in 1975. He also worked for Center Manufacturing in Byron Center for 20 years. He loved hunting, particularly bear hunting.

Visitation will be held on July 25, 2018, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at Koops Funeral home at 935 4th Ave., Lake Odessa, MI 48849. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to do so may provide a memorial in Brian's name to the Spirit Farms Riding Center of YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin. Condolences may also be offered online at www.koopsfc.com.
