If you ask Steve Foxworth, though, failure not only is an option, it’s embraced. You see, there are more learning opportunities in failure than there are in success.
“I don’t care who you are or how long you’ve been shoeing horses, if you’re not in a mindset of learning and growth, you’re going to struggle,” says the Loveland, Colo., farrier. “Every time someone asks us to do something that we haven’t done before, I almost get goose bumps. I’m like yeah, let’s do it! You have to do away with the fear of failing or making a mistake and embrace what could happen.”
