Manitowoc, Wis., farrier Billy Walsdorf passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020, after a car crash. He was 32.

Walsdorf had a love for all animals, and animals loved him back. He had a presence that would help them calm down and relax. Since the age of 16, he worked side by side with his dad Bob as a farrier. This lead to him starting his own farrier service, Forever Farrier Service.

Cremation has taken place. The family will greet relatives and friends from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lakeshore Humane Society of Manitowoc in Walsdorf’s name.
