Saylorsburg, Pa., farrier Jim Fritz passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2020. He was 77.

Fritz was a member of Mt. Eaton Church in Saylorsburg. He worked as a farrier for more than 40 years and was a member of the American Farrier’s Association. He also bred, showed and trained Quarter Horses and was a long-time member of AQHA, PQHA and KQHA.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 at Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Burial will follow in Mt. Eaton Cemetery, Saylorsburg.
