A familiar face within the farrier industry has found a new home.

Thoro’bred Racing Plate Co. and Kahn Forge is welcoming Remco van der Linden as its vice president. Van der Linden will be responsible for the company’s brands and global distribution channels with a strong focus on sales growth and customer satisfaction.

“Both Thoro’Bred and Kahn Forge are producing world-class products,” van der Linden says. “I’m very much looking forward to being a part of this innovative, customer-focused organization.”

Van der Linden joins Thoro’bred and Kahn Forge after serving as president of Delta Horseshoe Co. before joining the Mustad Hoofcare Group as director of sales and marketing for North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was a board member and president of the Farrier Industry Association and is on the board of the Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners. He also is a certified farrier with the American Farrier’s Association.
