My farrier is also my husband. I also go along with him to hold horses to make his life easier. I watch him sweat, bleed, and give his whole heart to his customers and thier horses. He takes great pride in making these horses perform and be as comfortable as possible. He spends time researching, talking with vets to find the best possible solution for many problems. He loves to work with Saddlebreds the best, the challenge they bring keeps him on his toes. I'm certainly proud of him and, of course, the team (vets, trainers, and riders) who send these horse to the championships. I'm also well aware that he makes his customers dreams come true well before his own.
