David Blackburn (Georgetown, Ky.)

I want to acknowledge my farrier, of over 15 years, David Blackburn.
David has been a farrier for over thirty years.  He has worked on some of the large thoroughbred farms here in Kentucky, various show horse breeds as well as the back-yard horses.  It doesn't matter if you have fifty horses or one, he will show up to do the job. David is always willing to schedule trims around my work schedule.  When he comes to the farm, he is always polite and courteous to me.  However, what is more important, is that he takes the time to settle and talks to the horses before he begins the trims.  He is always patient with them and is never aggressive.
There is not enough words to express his qualifications and quality as a farrier.
