Ballston Spa, N.Y., farrier Francis “Bud” Flint passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 81.
Flint, a United States Navy veteran, began his carrier as a farrier in 1969. He shod at the Saratoga Harness Track until his retirement in 2003. He’s also remembered for his family business, Bud’s Fish Fry in Galway, which operated from 1984-97.
Burial will take place in spring at Sweetman Cemetery.
