Virginia, Ill., farrier Jacob “Jake” Cramer III passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017. He was 74.

He was a certified farrier as well as scuba and skydiving instructor. His hobbies included skydiving and broom-making.

A visitation with the family will take place 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Oct. 22, 2017, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia, Ill. A graveside memorial service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Memorial Public Library.
