American Farriers Journal
American Farriers Journal is the “hands-on” magazine for professional farriers, equine veterinarians and horse care product and service buyers.
There will be a World Championship Blacksmiths competition in Madison. It will be held at the Midwest Horse Fair. The judge will be Tyler Marshall. The cost for categories 1-4 is $388.35, and the cost for novice class is $162.00. Student membership costs $107.88 and must currently be attending a horseshoeing school. Novices can't be a CJF, nor can they have competed in the novice class in previous seasons. The entry deadline is March 22, 2019.
The shoe list for Madison 2019 is as follows:
Two Person Class: 60 minutes
Individual Class: 60 minutes
Novice Class: 60 minutes
Liberty Live Shoeing: 70 minutes, 2 person
Individual Class: 12 minutes to start
