American Farriers Journal is the “hands-on” magazine for professional farriers, equine veterinarians and horse care product and service buyers.
Gluck Equine Research Center at the University of Kentucky is hosting the fifth annual Tex Cauthon Memorial Seminar at 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021.
The virtual program focuses on equine safety matters, with the morning session focusing on motion sensor technologies and related safety monitoring.
The afternoon session focuses on the proximal sesamoid bones and farrier-related strategies to protect the sesamoid bones and related structures during training and racing.
In the past, the seminar has been approved for CE credits, 8 KVMA credits for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians and also for 5.5 American Association of Professional Farriers credits. These applications are in progress.
