Rocky Mountain Farriers Association will hold its winter clinic Jan. 20-21, 2023, in Franktown, Colo. The clinician is Carl Via, CJF.

The first day of the clinic will be a small group hands-on forging day in which participants will work with Via one-on-one with any aspect of forging. The cost is $200 for members and $350 for non-members. Register by texting Jake Maestas at (505) 614-4678.

The second is an educational experience in which Via discusses and demonstrates his daily shoeing. There will be an informal hammer-in during the afternoon. Bring your rig and some bar stock. The second day is free to members, $50 for non-members.
