American Farriers Journal is the “hands-on” magazine for professional farriers, equine veterinarians and horse care product and service buyers.
The Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners will host a regional wet lab Feb. 24-25, 2023, in Gainesville, Texas. The clinicians are Scott Fleming, DVM, CF; Suzan Oakley, DVM, DACVSMR, DABVP (equine); and Dusty Franklin, CJF, AWCF.
Fleming will discuss "Podiatry Style Radiographic Review of the distal limb"; Franklin will present "Anatomy and physiology of the lower equine limb," and Oakley will discuss "Practical Ultrasound of the equine foot and pastern."Wet labs include dissection of equine lower limb, practical ultrasound and podiatry-style radiographs. This intensive event ends with our three presenters working in a team approach on a live lameness case with you.
The cost is $225 for NAEP Members ($275 for non-members) price includes welcome reception dinner and drinks on Friday at the Lone Star Lodge and Marina. Full access to all speakers and wet labs, breakfast and lunch provided on Saturday.
