The Utah Horseshoers Guild will hold its spring clinic April 21-22, 2023, in Lehi, Utah. The clinician is Nigel Fennell, FWCF (Hons).

Day 1

Fennell will conduct a hands-on demonstration of various forging and shoe modifications. Attendees will have a chance to carry out all that is demonstrated with Fennell’s guidance.

Day 2

Fennell will deliver two presentations, "How can farriers shoe to optimize performance on different surfaces," and "An investigation of the hoof mechanism characteristics following the application of wire trackers for various shoeing treatments involving the shod and unshod foot."

Shoeing and forging demonstrations will continue after lunch.

The cost is $300 for both days, $175 for one.
