The Southern Farrier Association will hold its fall clinic and business meeting on Sept. 29-30, 2023, at DS Horseshoe Supply in Carencro, La. The clinician is Blane Chapman, CJF.

The business meeting will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 29, Dinner will follow.

Sign-up for the clinic will be from 8-8:30 a.m. Sept. 30. The clinic will begin at 8:30 a.m. Chapman will be demonstrating setting up feet for success. This includes reading the feet; when, why and how to properly move feet back safely and effectively. He also will discuss how to properly fit and shape shoes hot and cold, as well as therapeutic packages for performance horses.
