Currently, Mitch is the director of the Kentucky Horseshoeing School in Richmond, KY, and received the AFA's "Educator of The Year" award for 2007 and 2011, as well as the Clinician of the Year award for 2012. This full day seminar will begin with a dissection of the hind limb, followed by a discussion of the mechanical properties of joints, soft tissues, and affects of shoeing on gait mechanics related to anatomy. After lunch, there will be a hands on shoeing demonstration of the hind limb.
