Applications for the University of Illinois farrier internship will be accepted until Oct. 15. The intern will work closely with journeyman farriers to therapeutically trim and shoe client- and university-owned horses.
The farrier will perform therapeutic trimming and shoeing of client and University-managed horses, contribute to student education, perform lameness exams with faculty and participate in research and outreach.
