Woodbine, Md., farrier Tom Parris passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, according to his family.

“He loved to meet up with fellow farriers and share any knowledge he could to help someone out, whether it was about shoeing or the business part of it,” says Darren Parris, his son. “His love and passion for horses started when he was a kid and carried on till his last breath. He taught me so much about not just shoeing horses but how to be a horse man, and how to conduct myself as a professional.”
