Christin Sell (Silver City, N.M.)
We recently relocated to Silver City, NM. Christin came out to trim our three donkeys. It's always dicey with a new farrier and donkeys, as donkeys are extremely misunderstood. Farriers often want to snub, force or drug them. We work with the donkeys daily, and they are good with their feet, but they have stranger-danger. Christin was fantastic. She took time to meet them, earn their trust, and took the time to make the first visit a total success. I appreciated that she does not use a one size fits all donkeys trim, but really studied each animal, their movement, their particular hoof shape and wear patterns. She nailed each of their personalities, she clearly 'gets' donkeys and how smart and funny they are. We are very grateful to have hit the farrier jackpot!
