Arizona Farrier Empowers Native American Youth Through Hoof Care

Indigenous nonprofit offers farrier courses on reservations across the country

George Goode, an 83-year-old member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, founded the Native American Horse Education Foundation to teach Indigenous youth how to care for and shoe their horses, giving young farriers the tools to start their own businesses.
